If you are in the Flint or surrounding area, I'd like to invite you to the ART FROM THE HEART, an indie art market that takes place during the Flint Second Friday Artwalk. This venue takes places at The Lunch Studio, 444 S. Saginaw Street and will feature artists, crafters, writers, live music, and street entertainment, and free refreshments! No admissions costs, and there are tons of other great venues participating that night as well -- Buckham Gallery, Rowe Lofts, The Yoga Lofts, and Pages Books, just to name a few.

Now that Fall is here -- nearly -- it's a little easier for me to reflect back on where I've been and what I've done. It's been a summer of growth for me as I've begun photographing not only for myself, but for others as well. I've documented a one-year-old's birthday party, and a 90th birthday party (along with her 91, 93, and 95-year-old siblings!) -- I've photographed a small family of three, and a large group of over, well, well over three! I've run a photo booth, shown my work at a the Flint Second Friday Art Walk downtown. I am excited where the Fall will take me. Over the next few weeks my website will grow as I update the gallery, and I will be looking back on the sessions I've done here on my blog.
